With only two and a half months left to go, the year is slowly coming to an end. That means it’s time to have a look at some amazing PC games that will be released by the end of the year. We’ve selected the most exciting single-player games for which you can expect a PLITCH trainer and a multiplayer game to get into once you played through your favorite solo experiences.


A Plague Tale: Requiem

Release Date: October 18

The saga revolving around Amicia and her brother Hugo continues. They are being hunted by an awful curse and Amicia is doing everything in her power to protect her sibling. Set in medieval and plague-ridden France, you’ll have to solve puzzles and fight to survive.

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed

Release Date: October 18

Do you wanna be the hunter or the prey? Take on the role of a ghost hunter and go on missions to capture ghosts, or play as the ghost and scare NPCs while you hide behind different objects. There’s also an asymmetrical multiplayer mode (not supported by PLITCH), so it’s the perfect game to play with friends on Halloween!

UNCHARTED™: Legacy of Thieves Collection

Release Date: October 18

The UNCHARTED™: Legacy of Thieves Collection contains the remastered versions of UNCHARTED™ 4: A Thief’s End as well as UNCHARTED™: Lost Legacy. Play as Nathan Drake or Chloe Frazer and prepare for adventures and dangerous treasure hunts.

Gotham Knights

Release Date: October 21

Batman is dead, so it’s up to you to keep the streets of Gotham safe. Play as Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, or Robin in this open-world action RPG as you solve mysteries, uncover secrets, and bring down notorious villains in epic fights. The game can be played in single-player as well as co-op (not supported by PLITCH).

New Tales from the Borderlands

Release Date: October 21

Despite this being the sequel to the story-adventure Tales from the Borderlands, there will be new main characters for you to meet. Join Anu, Octavio, and Fran in the metropolis Promethea on what might just be the worst day of their lives. Make important decisions and help them change (or save?) the world.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

Release Date: October 28

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is not only the successor to 2019’s Modern Warfare but also a soft reboot of the original Modern Warfare 2 from 2009. All eyes are on Captain Price’s Task Force 141 who find themselves in a brutal drug war in a fictional part of Colombia. Besides the main campaign, there’s also a 6 vs. 6 multiplayer mode (not supported by PLITCH).

Football Manager 2023

Release Date: November 8

Similar to all its predecessors, Football Manager 2023 makes you the coach and manager of your favorite soccer club. Take care of finances as well as transfers and simultaneously ensure that your young talents live up to their potential. Face other teams and see who comes out on top.

Sonic Frontiers

Release Date: November 8

Everyone’s favorite blue hedgehog is back! For the first time, you’ll be able to run around in open zones at superspeed. The Starfall Islands await you with lots of varied areas as well as a bunch of enemies. So, get your (digital) running shoes ready!

Goat Simulator 3

Release Date: November 11

The next Goat Simulator is coming and it’s going to be as insane as ever! Our beloved hoofed animals are back and ready to spectacularly destroy everything that stands in their way.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in me

The Callisto Protocol

Need for Speed Unbound

Need for Speed is back with photorealistic graphics and anime elements! Get ready to race against time, outsmart the cops, and participate in weekly races to qualify for The Grand.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion

Release Date: December 2

Originally only available on PlayStation Portable, the game is getting a remaster with complete dubbing and updated 3D models. It’s a prequel to Final Fantasy 7 which revolves around Zack’s history.

High on Life

Release Date: December 13

If you love Rick & Morty, this wacky sci-fi shooter is perfect for you! Play as a bounty hunter amidst an alien invasion and try to defend humanity using an arsenal of living, talking alien weapons, each of which has its own personality.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide

Release Date: November 30

Get your friends together and prepare for some brutal co-op shooter action. Twelve missions with variable difficulty and enemies are waiting for you as you try to save the city of Tertium.
