Activation 'Prepare' not working

Followed all steps regarding hint, starting up both programs with admin and trying to activate cheats after loading save game.
Also checked integrity of the game files and no errors were detected.

Activation of the 'prepare' button is not possible. It's not greyed out but num' lock button does not work (it's the preset key binding).
Tried to activate it via phone link, but also not possible.

Is this a known problem?

Have you tried repairing your trainer by using the Plitch Utilities Tool?
The tool is located within the installation folder of Plitch itself.
