Activation required

Whenever I try to load RDR2 I get a message saying Activation is required. This has only just started happening. I can load the game successfully only when I close down Plitch. Can anyone help?

The message pops up in red dead?
What are you supposed to activate?
Does it also shows up when launching the game manually via steam/epic/rockstar launcher?

When I launch red dead through steam or rockstar it will only work as long as I don't have plitch running.
When plitch is running, red dead launches so far then I get 'Activation Required'. Underneath that it says, 'Verifying game ownership failed and your offline activation data could not be loaded. Please check internet connection etc....'  My internet is working fine. Red Dead was working fine through plitch until recently. I am puzzled

Just to add to the above. Other games I have, work fine through Plitch.

Can you launch the game manually via steam/rockstar launcher and open up plitch afterwards?
