Are you playing the singleplayer mode?
Did you make sure to select the steam version in the trainer when playing via steam?

When i open gta using rockstar launcher as there is no other option also when using steam it always needs the rockstar launcher to run the game, when i activate the cheats the game freezes, its a game with out any mods.  and i cant disable my pc as it does not respond anymore i need to cut the power to reset my pc wich is very strange and it can break my game pc of 2500k so 
i am not using this cheats anymore untill its fixed

Please select the steam version in the trainer when playing via steam.
Are you playing the singleplayer mode?
Which cheat did you use that caused this problem?
