Game crashes when using money cheat

game crashes when using money cheat. and yes i followed instructions and own a legit steam game.

i activate the cheater. then hold money in my hand , and do num 5. i drop it buy something in store. 

money does not change and game crash.

Does it crashes instantly after purchasing something?
Did you activate the prepare AFTER loading into your savegame?

Could you please check if the entire PLITCH installation folder is whitelisted in your antivirus software/firewall?
