I'm going to be at Stanford for medical treatment for 6 weeks at the end of the month, which is going to keep me in the hospital for 2 hours a day and with 22 hours in my hotel/condo. I have had several people suggest Europa Universalis as a good way to pass a lot of time, and it looks like fun. I'm a 64 y/o semiliterate computer guy with a couple of questions.
I have a pretty cruddy laptop - does the game run mostly on the Steam cloud? Or does the game use a lot of memory/computer power to run OK https://speedtest.vet/ https://showbox.tools/?
Is it the sort of game that you can play and stop/come back to without it becoming annoying? I've been told that I may have a few days when I'm feeling poorly, so I'd feel better about not starting a game that is easy to put down for a bit, if that makes sense.
Thanks VERY much for any information/thoughts that would be helpful - I really appreciate it.
