It does not. It tries to install/start the origin version of the game. I even changed the installtion path in plitch and it still opens origin.

That's not a problem of the trainer. The game runs via origin. If you start the game manually via steam it opens up origin.

If you own the game via origin, yes.
If you own the game via steam, please start it manually.
