Unfortunately, yes.

Even when I launch the game, a "prohibited" symbol appears, and none of the buttons respond.

Thank you for the reply. We only support the english version of the game. Could you please rightclick the game in your Steam Library → Properties → Installed Files → Browse... Then launch the "Launch_EA.exe" file manually and try to use the cheats.

It's a bit of a shame that the save data can't be used, though.

We’ve looked at the cheats in the Japanese version, but unfortunately the game’s code seems to be quite different, and we haven’t been able to adapt the cheats. As a result, we’re currently only able to support the English version. I hope for your understanding!
