Hi candrade,
to use the PLITCH cheats, please run both PLITCH and the platform you are playing on (Steam, Epic...) as an administrator. 
Select the correct version of the game in the PLITCH dropdown menu (the game version and the platform must fit your game). 
Then start the game via the "PLAY" button in PLITCH. 
Now load into your savegame and wait a moment. Now you can activate the "prepare for cheats" code. If it doesn't work with "Alt + F1" then please try to activate it with your mouse. 
I hope that already works. If you need help with that or if you have any questions, just let me know :)

Hi Fezi, Thank you, but I still can't activate cheat mode, I run the game through plitch, with the correct version #32, Epic. But I still don't know or understand how to activate cheat mode so I can use Alt + F2 and add money.
