Please also make sure to start both PLITCH and Steam as an administrator. Please make sure that you have selected a character in the STATUS menu. The cheats shouldn't restore after a battle.

I run both PLITCH and STEAM as an administrator, and I've selected a character in the STATUS menu.
However, STATUS cheats restored after battle.
