Tips and Tricks: Forza Horizon 5 Easy Money

Since Playground Games removed the Infinite Money Glitch at the end of 2021, it has become more difficult to earn money quickly in Forza Horizon 5, but there are still a few tricks. Our tips and tricks guide on Forza Horizon 5 Easy Money will show you how it’s done!

1) What do you need money for in Forza Horizon 5?

In the world of Forza, you can never have enough money. The currency is neither euros nor dollars, but credits. Huge sums of credits get exchanged for every car and every house. If you want to have a fast car or noble accommodation, you need to know how to earn money in Forza Horizon 5.

With the necessary financial power, you can own a total of 577 cars and 7 player houses, the first of which is given to you at the beginning of the game. The houses cost between 150,000 and 5 million credits. And even for the fastest cars, 7-digit amounts of money are due.

2) How can you earn money in Forza Horizon 5?

In Forza Horizon 5 you can make money in multiple ways. Even if you don’t pay attention and just play, your digital wallet will fill up. Experience points (EP) aren’t that important in Forza 5 however, every level up you achieve through them brings you additional income, for example in the form of wheelspins.

Your main source of income is to participate in races and, in the best case, win them. Not exactly unusual for a racing simulation. We at PLITCH will tell you which tracks bring in the most money and with which cars your opponents don’t stand a chance.

The fastest cars in the game are:

  • Lamborghini Sesto Elemento
  • Formula drift #34 Toyota Supra MKIV
  • Koenigsegg Jesko
  • Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR
  • BMW X5 M

As for the races that make the most money, you can remember as a rule of thumb: The longer, the better. The more kilometers you have to cover, the higher the prize money in the end.

As soon as you can, you should participate in the Gauntlet, Goliath, and Colossus to farm money. Although these are only unlocked after completing a few events, they will bring you the most rewarding compensation.

Last but not least, skill points (or championship points) are one of the general ways to earn money in Forza Horizon 5. You get these by drifting, performing stunts, and basically doing everything you might refrain from doing in a serious race.

Break stuff, almost collide with opposing vehicles, drive way too fast and thus way too risky, take advantage of the slipstream, do burnouts and go for crazy jumps; all of this is not only a lot of fun but gives you skill points that you can directly exchange for credits.

3) Forza Horizon 5 Easy Money – Fast Ways

Wheelspins and Super-Wheelspins

Competing in races is of course only one part and also a relatively slow way to increase your bank balance. Therefore, you are rightly wondering what is the fastest way to earn money in Forza. Our first tip is to use wheelspins and super wheelspins.

Let’s talk about how to get them. As mentioned before, you get them by leveling up. Additionally, though, festival playlist challenges also drop spins, as well as spending skill points to get car masteries. Buying certain houses and completing certain awards and car collections will also earn you wheelspins.

If you buy the Hotel Castillo (for 5 million credits), you’ll even secure a permanent source of Wheelspins without having to do anything else. Just owning the property will provide you with one free spin per day. And of course, you can also buy Wheelspins in the Forzathon store for real money.

Let’s start with the Wheelspins themselves. What exactly do they offer you as a player? In essence, they are a game of chance. You start a spin and have the chance to win either a little money, a lot of money, or even a car. Cars, in turn, can be sold and thus converted into credits.

Any car that you no longer need in perspective, and especially cars that you own twice, should be sold to do something good for your wallet.

By the way, at the release of Forza 5, there was a glitch that allowed you to earn virtually infinite money. Of course, the developers didn’t miss this trick and it was removed from the game in the regular patches.

The auction house

Second tip: The auction house. In Forza Horizon 5, it works similarly to the one in WoW, except that no role-playing game items are traded here, but car-specific ones. For example, you can offer your own items for sale to other players or buy something at auction yourself.

One method of saving credits with the help of the auction house is sniping. You can find sellers who sell their cars for less than they are worth. To get to them, you first look at the dealer price of a car in the car show.

Then you search the auction house for sellers who advertise the model you’ve chosen, filtering for offers that are significantly below the regular price. As soon as you find one, you buy it immediately before someone else does.

You can then sell the car you got for a higher price. However, you should keep in mind that the demand for cars on the marketplace in Forza Horizon 5 is much lower than the supply. Unless there’s a weekly promotion that requires a certain car, most models will only be sold for small sums.

This leads us to another method in the auction house, regular bidding. Here, the key is to hit the festival stages at the right time and be quick when bargains are on offer. The excitement that can arise, especially in the last few minutes of an exciting listing, can be compared to the adrenaline rush of finding a fat bargain or a good deal on eBay.

By the way, you can find the auction house in the pause screen under the item Buy and Sell. Each offer can run for a maximum of 24 hours and there are also both minimum and maximum prices for each car. In between, however, there is a lot of room to make quite a few bucks cleverly.

The Car Mastery

Our third tip is the car mastery. You can find it under the Cars tab in the middle right. Here you can invest your skill or ability points to get perks and bonuses. Each car has unlockable fields and there are even five secret cars hidden within the car mastery that you can add to your fleet.

By the way, with the update of February 1, 2022, all invested skill points were reset. However, you don’t have to worry, because the equivalent value has been credited to your account accordingly. You may now have more skill points than you originally spent.

The rewards you get for spending your points in the car mastery trees of your cars can be the following:

  • Experience points (frequent)
  • Wheelspins (frequent)
  • Credits (often)
  • Super Wheelspins (rare)
  • Cars (very rare)
