New cheats for 1.30 not working

Greetings.  i hope this message finds you well.  I see the version of the cheat engine has been updated to match the game, but I am unable to get them to work.  The Prepare action works, but none of the cheats do.  Using the restore AP crashes the game, and adding point to your character simply do not work.  Thoughts?  Feelings?

Are you playing via steam or msstore and did you make sure to select the right version in the trainer?
Did you activate the cheats AFTER loading into your savegame?
Is your game up to date and did you use the new version in the trainer (1.3.0....)?

Steam, and verified game files.  Version in Plitch matches the version on the splash screen of the game.  Yes, I tried both before and after for the cheat activation.  That all went well.  I can hear the activation sound in game.  The skill points/attributes sound does not activate or work, and the refill AP crashes  to desktop.  Would there be any logs to look at?

It seems, at least for me, that the +10 skillponts is not working. Everything else is working fine but not that one. I've checked version and correct launcher. This is for the 1.30 version on Steam.
