PLITCH promotes digital inclusion through an accessible website.Declaration on Accessibility
We (MegaDev GmbH) strive to make our website www.plitch.com and our mobile applications for PC and mobile devices accessible in accordance with the Ordinance on Digitization in the Free State of Bavaria.
The following legal provision applies to us:
Act implementing Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council on accessibility requirements for products and services and amending other laws.
Website
Grade of accessibility: Complete.
The website plitch.com has been implemented in accordance with the requirements of the Barrier-Free Accessibility Reinforcement Act (BFSG) and the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV) and fully complies with the requirements of the European standard EN 301 549 in the currently valid version. All content, functions and navigation elements of the website are designed to be barrier-free and can be used without restriction by people with various disabilities.
Some thumbnails on the blog cannot currently be provided with alt texts due to technical limitations. As this problem lies with the provider and cannot be solved by us, we refer to §17 BFSG. Switching to an alternative system would represent a disproportionate burden. A solution to the known problem has already been requested from the developers and will be implemented within a maximum of three weeks as soon as it is available.
An official audit by Stiftung Pfennigparade [Link] has been commissioned and is currently in progress.

Irrespective of this, MegaDev GmbH strives to continuously improve accessibility and user-friendliness:
The software cannot currently be operated completely without a mouse. A corresponding functionality is already in progress.
The software cannot yet be fully used with a screen reader. Corresponding functionality is already in progress.
Achieving full accessibility is planned on a voluntary basis by the end of 2025.

The next version of the mobile app is already in development. It will fully comply with the legal requirements.
