I have removed and blocked the Edge browser on my Windows 11 system due to certain features that I find intrusive, and I needed to prevent its automatic installation entirely. However, I noticed that this has affected the operation of Plitch. Does your team have any plans to consider using Chrome or other browsers as the underlying engine instead of relying on Edge?

Hey ctmaomao,

thank you for letting us know. The client uses the WebView2 runtime, which was originally a standalone application. However, Microsoft has since embedded it into Microsoft Edge, which is why it’s now required for the client to function properly.
