Are you playing Monster Rancher 1 or 2?
Did you make sure to select the correct version (MR1/ MR2) in the trainer?
Were you able to activate the prepare?
Is the prepare greyed out?
Is your numpad turned on?

I have the same issue. I tried running both as administrator, tried using the mobile app. Cannot activate. All cheat options are grayed out.
