Cannot activate cheat while using Amazon Games version

Greetings.  i hope this message finds you well.  I am playing the version offered on Amazon Games right now, and I am not able to activate the cheats.  I know they are only listed from Steam, but often they still allow you to use them.  In this case, the option to start the cheats is greyed out and will not start.  Any thoughts?

You can try running plitch and amazon games with admin rights.

That did not work, sorry.  I tried both in administrator, then one on one off and vice versa.
