Please make sure to run both PLITCH and Steam with administrator rights. To do this, right-click on the desktop icon or the .exe file and select "Run as administrator".
Next, launch the game manually through Steam and select "Launch game without EAC" in the launch options. Once you're in your singleplayer savegame, activate the Prepare cheat and then you should be able to use the rest of the cheats.
