Hey pentakiller1211,
please try to start both PLITCH and Steam as an administrator. 
Which cheats exactly are not working when you recruit a new companion?

It seems like the credits cheat, god mod as well as infinite AP does not work when you have a companion in your party

Thank you for the info. 
So I can look at the issue with a companion, please send me your savegame. You can find it here: 
%LOCALAPPDATA%\ColonyShipGame\Saved\SaveGames
Then put the save files in a ZIP folder and send it to me via the ticket system.
