cheats don't work

Anyone noticed that the cheats don't work with a saved game. It also looks like you need to restart the game for the cheats to work on a new game.

What is not working?
Which platform are you using and did you select the right verison in the trainer (MSStore/Steam)
Were you able to activate the prepare or is it greyed out?

glassteel+50 not working
Palladian+50 not working
Hyperium+50 not working

all units not working

Are you playing via steam or msstore and did you select the right version (Steam/MSStore) in the trainer?
Did you read the cheat descriptions and the red hint?

Did you follow the steps in the cheat description? Especially the one in the prepare saying "you first have to open and close the empire screen, then open the tooltip with the properties of a unit within your army. Now activate the prepare, open and close the empire screen again."
