cheats greyed out?

ok, so i dont understand why i cannot activate it in game,  unable to do.  can someone point me in some kinda direction?

Hey witchy cajun,
are you playing via Steam, GOG, Origin or do you have a retail of the game?
Did you make sure to select the correct version (Steam/GOG/Origin/Retail) in the trainer?
What isn't working for you?
Were you able to activate the prepare?

Did you make sure to select the correct version (Steam/GOG/Origin/Retail) in the trainer?

i did select the right one, i am using GOG. I dont understand how to activate the first code.  I don't know how to do it.  am i missing something?

All you need to do is start up your game, load into your savegame and activate the cheat called "Prepare". After that you can use all of the other cheats.
To activate the prepare you can either click manually on the little "play" symbol right next to the cheat or press the assigned hotkey.

All you need to do is start up your game, load into your savegame and activate the cheat called "Prepare". After that you can use all of the other cheats.
To activate the prepare you can either click manually on the little "play" symbol right next to the cheat or press the assigned hotkey.

I tried that and it will not allow me to click on it like I have seen in videos.  it will not let me click on it at all, i even downloaded the mobile version and it wont work.  I contacted support and so far they are no help.  :(

I just got it to work, i had to do a clean install and a few other things they suggested.  I'm happy that it works!  ty all for the suggestions.  :)
