Cheats not working

Hi there, the cheats for research and money onl work intermittently.  Do you have any idea why this is?

Hello Youngdarkmelody, please try to always gain money before and after you activate the cheat, so the value can increase.
Can you please go to Steam and check your game files for errors?

I tested the issue and I couldn't find any problems. Like you can see in this short video, the values only change, when they change through the game: https://i.gyazo.com/0f93ccdbe76a28d15296bb3c25791d15.mp4
That means the values have to be triggered once before you can activate the cheat and they have to be triggered again after you activate the cheat.

Hi Fezi,

Thank you for your feedback.  How do I check for errors, I'm in the game file but don't know what to look for.
What's happening is the game crashes every now and then.  But, even though I wait for the values to change before putting in cheats, it still doesn't work.  money and research just don't do anything most of the time.  Even after playing continuously for hours.  Sometimes it works, most times it doesn't.

to check your game files for errors, please do the following: Search for Good Company in your Steam library. Open the properties of the game and go to local files. Then click on "verify integrity of game files".

All files successfully validated.  I'm going to try restart my PC and see if anythign has changed. 
Also, how do you have the plitch thing inside your game?  That's so cool!

Another suggestion which can resolve some technical issues is to cleanup your registry files. Here is how to do that: Open the PLITCH Utilities tool on your PC and click on "Cleanup Registry Files". Afterwards you can do a clean reinstallation of PLITCH.

Yes I love that overlay option too, it is so useful, especially for game where you don't want to tab out.
Here is how to activate the PLITCH overlay: Open the Microsoft Store on your PC and search for "PLITCH overlay". Once you found it you can download it for free. Then press "Windows + G". This activates the windows overlay. Then you can activate the PLITCH overlay under "Widget menu" in the windows overlay. You still need to start the game via the client. Once the game is fully loaded you can activate the overlay and connect it to the PLITCH client.
