Cheats not working as they are supposed to

2 cheats are not working properly:
Add Gold Tokens - adds the amount but the moment you spend even a little bit it goes into huge negative number and you have repeat the process every time
Add Gems - once used the number of my gems went into huge negative number and I can't seem to change that number even if I collect the gems "legitimate" way

I used the Reset Gems to 0 and it gave me loads of gems (inventory shows 0 but Quartermaster shows billions).
I also used Reset Gold Tokens to 0 but the number remains in huge negative number.

how much tokens and gems did you add? Which number did you type into the insert field?

Hi. I held 9 until the field was full and the number changed to 4294967295 by itself (I assumed that's the maximum value you can safely add). After I realized what actually happened to my gems and gold, I tried adding smaller amounts (as low as 1000) but it didn't change anything.
