Clicking doesn't work

I've selected "Prepare", however trying to give XP or Gold just doesn't work. I hover my mouse over, click, nothing happens at all.

If you're going to charge people for features, make sure they work first.

EDIT: Also, yes, I have spend the resorces after selecting "prepare", as instructed.

Are you playing via steam or msstore?
Did you make sure to select the correct version (steam/msstore) in the trainer?
