Client not opening at all

Windows 7. I have used Plitch before a couple times with success, also use it a lot on another Win8 laptop I have.
For no apparent reason, today it won't open. Trying to open the program allows me to see a black box for a millisecond, like MS-DOS command prompt window, but it vanishes instantly. With task manager I can't even see the process commence, it crashes that quickly or something. 

Any ideas I can try?

Hey! You can give our PLITCH Utilities Tool a try and use that to perform a clean re-install of PLITCH. You can find instructions for that here: https://plitch.zendesk.com/hc/en-001/articles/5068353201437-My-PLITCH-Client-is-stuck-in-the-loading-screen-. Let me know if you need any further help! 😊

The Utilities tool immediately pops up an error window, like when a process crashes. 

A re-install in the same folder seems to work, but the next time I boot up my PC, the programs is glitched exactly the same way (and Utilities too). Has this been reported before? It seems peculiar.

Any chance of a fix? I'd love to use the service, I've enjoyed it when it works, but it's not very viable to install it every time I turn on my PC in case I might want to use it.
