Which cheats did you use that caused the game to crash?
Are you playing via steam or uplay? Do you have uplay+?

I've used the gold cheat and have had intermittent crashes. I think it is happening when you shut Plitch down while the game is running. Have not really determined the exact pattern. Cheat works fine but then game crashes shortly afterwards. So, far, I've just rebooted and restarted and I don't use the cheats very often.

Did you deactivate the cheats before closing plitch?

I believe so... turned the 'prep' off and then closed Plitch.  Then, back to game and it crashed. What I do now is leave Pitch running with the 'prep' on until I get to a save point. Then, exit game and then shut down Plitch which seems to be working without incident...
