Credits not working?

I can't get the add credits cheat to work.  Everything else seems to be fine; all the character creation stuff worked, god mode functions, etc but nothing happens when using the credits cheat.  It doesn't make the activation sound either

Actually, it looks like there are a couple that aren't working properly.  The add level cheat increases the numerical level of the character, but doesn't apply the feat benefits.  The feat cheat makes the noise, but the "add feat" button doesn't appear afterwards in the character menu

And the "add xp" cheat adds it at first, but it doesn't level up if it pushes xp past the level up cap, and the next time xp is earned it resets back to where it was

is the credits cheats the only one that isn't working for you?
Did you gain/spend some money before and after activating the cheat (while prepare is active)?

I haven't used all the cheats. But so far the ones I have used do work except for the money cheat.  I have prepare active, and yes I have spent/gained money and tried it both ways. Doesn't work either way. Is there a method that makes it work?
