Cult of The Lamb Cheats Work Throughout The Game But Doesn't Take Damage Off The Final Boss

I played through Cult Of The Lamb when I have the cheats on, but when I got to the final boss, I wasn't able take the damage off the boss. How was I able to take damage off all the other bosses in the game, but wasn't able to do it on the last boss? I have been hitting the eyeballs from the boss so many times, but no damage was happening on the boss. I even turned off all the cheats that I had on, and I still wasn't able to take any damage off, except the damage on myself that I took instead. There must be a glitch in the game when I have the cheats on, that causes the cheats to not able to take off damage on the last bosses health bar.
