The cheat does not work with EA app. The game does not run from the plitch command. If you run the game separatly, the plitch engine does not see it and will not allow cheat to be activated.

please try to run both PLITCH and EA as an administrator (right click on the desktop icon). Then select the correct version in PLITCH and start the game via the "PLAY" button.
Sometimes for Command & Conquer - Generals - Zero Hour it can also help to start the .exe of the game as an administrator (EA library < Command & Conquer - Generals - Zero Hour < click on the three points at the game < properties < Browse install location < right click on the generels .exe and start it as an administrator).
