on which platform you've the game? normally the game should be updated automatically to latest version 😐

That's what I thought too, I have it on Steam and have it on compatibility mode on 32 bit for it to work, not sure why :/

I tried to paste a screenshot but it didn't work, I went on steam and clicked on browse local files on the game and right clicked on the Stardew Valley application and clicked on properties and then on details it shows product version 1.3.8053.40424

Open up the game and click on the question mark symbol on the bottom right in the main menu. The version number is visible on the bottom left of the screen.
