Were you able to activate any cheat or are they greyed out?
Are you using mods?
Do you have a legal copy of the game via steam?

i have steam version
cheats for exp does not add points
god mode is not working, 
no cheat works. 
I don't use mods

I have the same issue, not greyed out i get the activation noise on keypress but not alteration to game.

Did you gain xp before and after activating the cheat?

Sorry, but are you kidding me? They write to you that the trainer does not work, that the STEAM version is without mods! The game has a different name - "Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Ultimate Edition" . Please check or update the trainer. You swear that other third-party trainers are mentioned. So keep the brand and quality of the paid service! You are ahead of the quality of non-names and free amateurs. 
I didn't want to offend, but more and more often I use free, third-party cheats or finish it myself. I wish you didn’t close your eyes and didn’t cancel trainers. We believe in you!
