you're trying to use the Company of Heroes 2 trainer, right?
Make sure to select the correct version (Steam / MS-Store).
Have you paid attention to the red hint that shows up when you select it in the trainer?
"To prevent game crashes you should disable the cheats short time before a mission ends"
That might be a bit annoying but it's the only way to not have your game crash.
Give it a try and let me know if it worked for you.

Were you able to activate any of the cheats?
Are the cheats greyed out?
Are you playing the legacy edition?
