Introduction:

PLITCH is entitled to establish binding forum guidelines for members and premium members for the PLITCH website and software. These following forum guidelines contain, in particular, regulations on the permissible use and behavior in the respective forum areas. In addition, the guidelines serve to prevent the violation of rights of other users and to ensure compliance with applicable law.

The forum guidelines can be changed/adjusted by PLITCH at any time.

Basics:

Please behave as respectfully and politely in this forum as you would in a public place. Our goal is to encourage a friendly exchange of interests, news, and help with each other. Above all, we all want to enjoy our video games and have fun - Happy Gaming!

Interaction with each other:

We politely ask you to behave respectfully, even if you disagree with each other.

The forum should remain a place of friendly exchange and not be disturbed by insults or personal attacks. Please remain objective and focus on the content of the responses, not the tone. We encourage you to help other forum members with problems you have a solution to!

General:

Please understand that there is less official support from team members on weekends and holidays.

Avoid duplicate posts. Often there are already existing threads on a topic, please continue the discussion in one if your problem is already covered. If you have already commented on a topic, do not repeat the same problem in other threads. The forum search function can be a great help in this regard to discover existing threads. Duplicate threads/posts do not contribute to faster resolution and only lead to confusion. This will help the official team members to keep a better structure, which will help everyone in the end.

Please note the rules for game requests, which are pinned above in the categories under "game requests", when you request new games. There you will find a thread called "Rules for Game Requests".

When posting a comment in the forum that describes a problem with PLITCH, please provide as much and as accurate information as possible. This will allow us to more quickly isolate problems and identify sources of errors.

The following is not allowed:

Insults and discriminatory comments.

Self-promotion and spam.

Offensive usernames or profile pictures.

References and links to providers of other trainer software.

In particular, calling, saving, sending or forwarding content that is pornographic, racist, glorifies violence, violates human dignity or is extremist in image, sound or text is prohibited.

Sharing private information of others or yourself. Please note that PLITCH staff members are always identifiable by their "team" rank on the forum and will never ask you for personal information on the forum. For questions that require personal information, please open a support ticket instead of posting them on the forum.

Instructions on how to illegally download games or how to cheat in online games.

If you notice that someone is violating these rules of conduct, please report it via a support ticket. A staff member will take care of it.

Forum moderators and consequences of violating the instructions:

The forum moderation is the responsibilty of the PLITCH team and/or other registered users that have been granted moderation rights by the PLITCH team. The moderators are entitled to give instructions, as far as this is necessary for the maintenance of an orderly operation of the forum, for the order and security or for the observance of the forum guidelines. These instructions must be followed, otherwise the user may be temporarily or permanently banned from the forum or, in special cases, the entire PLITCH account may be banned.

Rights of use of your created and uploaded content:

With your postings in the forum you grant us the right to reproduce, edit and make publicly available the content you uploaded or posted for use within PLITCH, in the PLITCH forums in any form and on any device as well as on any platform, be it controlled by PLITCH or not.

If you want to learn more about the rights of use you have assigned to PLITCH for the content you have created and uploaded, see our TOS, where we have written everything down in detail.
