Ok, so something broke with the update. For example, when I go into the menu to buy anything for a job, it no longer allows you to purchase items, the option is not even available to buy. You can however, buy from the store menu as normal outside of the job screen.

Please try to verify your game files in Steam for errors (right-click on the game in your steam library < properties < installed files < verify integrity of game files).
Can you currently only not buy items in the menu or do additional cheats not work too?
