Game crashes when trying to activate cheats
I think it's possible the game needs to be updated. I tried hitting prepare as I got in game and then the game immediately crashed. Previously once I got in game, I tried to load the godmode cheats and no reload and then the game also crashed. Not sure if I did something wrong or if the patch is just outdated.

Heya! Thanks for the info on that. The trainer should be up to date but with the anti-cheat in this game, one never knows. Do these crashes occur only at a specific point in the game? Could you try going back to an older savegame and check if they occur there, too?

So far, its only been right after you come out of the warehouse after Leon was captured right after you talk to the merchant. I let the game load a bit, but it just keeps crashing at that moment. I did load a previous save and it was ok then, but I didn't try to go very far in case it was a one off thing. So maybe it's just an issue after the warehouse in the village.

So I have tested it again. It always crashes when you load the game and then pause it and turn on the cheats during the pause menu. Not sure if that helps with the possibility of fixing it.

please try to start both PLITCH and Steam with explicit administrator rights (right-click on the desktop icon and then "run as administrator"). Then start the game with the "PLAY" button in PLITCH.
Also try to verify your game files in Steam for errors.
