Are you using mods?
Have you checked your gamefiles for errors?

The GMP mod is not working. It will add the points, but once you use it it deducts as if you are at the original amount. Example: You have 500, you add 1000 to get to 1500, purchase something and it subtracts as if you only had 500. I have a legit copy, and the only mods I am using are cosmetic ones. I have tried while connected to online and when not.
