Were you able to acitvate the godmode but it didn't seem to have a function?
Did you activate the prepare AFTER loading into your savegame? Did you activate the godmode AFTER entering a fight/getting hit?
Do you own a legal copy of the game via steam?
Are you using mods?
Are you playing a beta/experimental version of the game?

I activated god mode but my health still drops to death. I also activated the prepare after loading save game. I'm using a legel copy form steam without mods and no beta updates of the game.

Was the damage you got higher than your max health?

The health drops but it does not go back up. Damage wasn't higher then max health.

Health went up a little when I activated the cheat. But would not go back up after it was turned on.
