I could not find an enemy that was affected by the godmode after more than 4 hours testing.

I just turned godmode on and the first enemy I encountered -Rokurou- was affected.

Did you activate the cheat AFTER loading into your savegame/ AFTER entering a fight?
Did you use the cheat in the tutorial?
