Unfortunately, when I activated the cheat and then bought the loot with the golden key, I still did not receive another.

We tested the cheat but it seemed to work fine.
Have you checked your gamefiles for errors?

If you are asking if I used the steam validation function, yes I have. I even uninstalled the game and reinstalled it to see if anything changed.

I did, however, finally get the cheat to work. It seems you must wipe the borderlands 2 folder under documents if you had an old install if the cheat does not function as it should.
