I've experience this same issue. When launching the game through plitch, I can't access anything and when I launch the game normally, plitch doesn't detect it. I use GOG and there is only one version available.

did you launch Plitch as administrator? For that you need to rightclick on the Plitch.exe -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Run this program as administrator
