Inf ammo is broken for Explosive Items

When this is on, it gives you 99 of the items even though you don't actually have any. For example, if you already have 2 and then turn on the cheat, it will show as 99 even though you really only have 2. When you try to use them it will do the animation but nothing is ever actually used. It's weird. Please look into it and fix or maybe do a separate cheat for inf grenades or something. Thanks!

Are you playing via steam, epic or msstore?
Did you activate the prepare AFTER loading into your savegame?
