The instant research cheat dont work after the update of the game. Can this be fixed?

Does the versionnumber ingame matches the one in the trainer? (0.1.51.38969)
Did you activate the cheats AFTER loading into your savegame?

cheats are breaking the game. the game gives error when trying to save. it will not save once you use any  cheat   game r version ends with 4296
