Jade Empire on steam doesn't start.

Running jadeempire.exe from desktop works fine.  Steam access is broken to jade empire, so plitch fails me.  What could fix  this?

What isn't working for you?
Were you able to activate any of the cheats?
Are the cheats greyed out?

none of the cheat codes operate.  all cheat codes are normal color.  I went to some effort to get plitch, steam and jade empire to work together.  Windows 10 home, all automatic updates current.  I can see the information i, and it tells me how to use it, but there are no response sounds, no change of elements.

I had to bypass the configuration utility, if that affects anything.

On Ni No Kuni, all cheats worked well, so my plitch is okay there.
