The next step would be for me to test if it's not working on our side as well and if that's the case we have to fix it.

Agree, the money cheat is not working in general. Are there any special conditions to allow it to work such as being on a certain screen option in the game?

my PC is running Windows 10 
I start the game using plitch, once the game saved file has been loaded I select Prepare on the Plitch app, the money cheat does not respond to any attempt to activate it.
