When I use the money cheat, it seems my original ducats are still there and when they run out I will take loans when I still have money.

Are you 100% sure you disabled the mods?
We do not support mods! Installed mods, more often than not, change game functions, scripts etc. Therefore mods and the trainer are not compatible!
