Multiplier x10 not working

When I press a key for the cheat, it lit green for a second and just off again, am I doing it wrong or something. The game version all upto date and matched, still?

It is a pointer so it sets the multiplier to 10x for when you pick up gold the next time

Okay so when you enabled the cheat and picked up gold it did not increase by 10 times?

I can find all of my steam games save location but for some reason I cannot locate save data for this one, do you have any suggestion?
