If I select the new 64bit Steam version I can not activate the game. If I exit everything I can start the game via the console and see the cheats but I can not start them. After that, the page freezes and I can not even select a different version or a different game any more.
A pity but not much we can do now I guess. You said in the other thread that there won't be much movement until the next version of the game V2.00 is out and even then it will mean a big rework so it will probably be a while until I can use the console again for this game :(

with "console" you mean the PLITCH client or something else? maybe you can explain your steps a bit more in detail what you've tried and what happened, because right now I don't understand where resp. what exactly the problem is
I tried the following right now again without any problems:
- start PLITCH client on Win10 64bit system
- select "We Are Football" in PLITCH
- select latest Steam version "1.15, 2022-11-28 (Steam)" for "We Are Football"
- press "Start"-Button in PLITCH and get the game open
- wait until main menu and activate the "Prepare" by pressing the "0" on my number block on the right side of my keyboard
- now load my latest savegame in game
- after loading is done, open the detail screen of a player in game
- now hold down the "Alt" key and press "1" (the one above the letters) one time
- then close the detail screen of the player and reopen it in game
- see the age has been increase by 1 year resp. the birthyear has been decreased by 1
btw: version 2.00 of the game is already out, but only in case you play with the DLC and we've to update PLITCH to this version first before you can use it with the DLC

So even after a full reboot where nothing of the game or the client is left in the RAM I can start the client and then select 1.15, 64BIT (STEAM) to start the game, that works. I load my save game. However if I press Prepare nothing happens now, the icon no longer changes.
If I do the same with 1.15, 2022-11-28, 64BIT (STEAM) I can also start the game and load a save game, if I click on Prepare the icon changes. If in game I now right-click a player (any player, be it my own or a player of another team on the transfer market), the game closes before I can apply a cheat, the client changes to "thanks for plitching" and game has crashed. If I do not right-click a player and apply cheats I hear the sound for it but nothing happens. After a while the client is unresponsive so in PLITCH I can for example not click the Prepare button any more or select another game. In task manager it looks like it's running, not " not responding" If I do not hit Prepare and wait I can select other games or community, the client then is fine.
I have the DLC but I don't use it, I have it since it came out but before the update I could use the 1.15, 64BIT (STEAM) without issues.
What surprises me is that I can no longer simply use the old version 1.15, 64BIT (STEAM) because even if the new version does not work for me the old one should still work if it worked before. The game did not update, it still says 1.15 in the menu so I wonder why that one no longer works if that one was not touched and a new one 1.15, 2022-11-28, 64BIT (STEAM) was created instead.

but I don't really understand why the game is crashing for you with the new entry... sure we've a new technology/method included, but this should not be able to cause game crashes from the "prepare" already 😕
did you may have one of the following games too?

The new version is somehow still not working for me i am afraid. The crash must be due to a corrupted save game. If I start a new game I do not experience the crash, if I use that particular save game it always crashed when opening the player profile. I remember the last I did was lowering the remaining time on a players contract, not sure if that is what caused the save game corruption or if the reason is not related to the Plitch console. I can't say.
The new version freezes after a very short while. I also note I can not stop the prepare button. If I use the old 1.15 version I can start the cheats by clicking on Prepare, the icon then changes to a stop button and with that I can switch off the Plitch cheats again. With the new version once I click Prepare it does change to a stop button but that button can not be used, the cheats remain active and after a while Plitch freezes and cheats no longer apply to the game despite the console is active.
It's not the end of the world, I don't really need the new additions. If any newer version would either deal with adding skills (similar as you have added it for the staff) or if the talent cheat enables the skill matrix it would be more interesting. Also if you can add an entry file to change shirt numbers it would come handy.
