Just launch the game manually via Epic and select the latest Steam version in the trainer :x

Took a couple of launches but the trainer worked that way! Unfortunately I keep running into that crashing problem someone else already reported & am now unable to progress past the tutorial level even with the mods disabled. At least I can refund the game & re-purchase it when the game gets fixed. Thank you though
