What isn't working for you?
Were you able to activate the prepare?
Is the prepare greyed out?
Is your numpad turned on?

it started working eventually, it seems the cheats were really delayed to start working

Hey! Could you please open a support ticket here, send us your savegame and give us some examples of upgrades the cheat doesn't work for?  We can then look into this. Thanks!
