I'm not entirely sure if it does work with the GOTY Edition but are you playing via Steam or GOG?
Did you run Plitch and Steam/GOG with adminrights?

I've just tried playing the game via pressing play in the client. Lords of the Fallen 2014 game of the year edition. Unable to use my controller to play as I have with my other games. Seems to be playable by keyboard only?! Please help.

does this issue also happens when launching the game manually via Steam instead of the using the play button in Plitch?
