Plitch won't work with Northgard

Hello! I log in to Plitch, open Northgard, and try to play Conquest, Story  and random map levels. I try to use the activation cheat and it does not work. I am running Northgard 2.4.1.20197 and using the compatible 64-bit edition of Plitch for Steam. I have only attempted to activate the cheats in single player modes. I have tried restarting both Plitch and Steam and I know Plitch works with Hearts of Iron IV and Crusader Kings 2 - I started them up just to check. Does anyone know what the problem is?
